HUNGER- In the absence of functional/ productive educational system, that instills moral and intellectual discipline to the larger society due to the lackadaisical attitudes of governments in the subregion to education leading to large numbers of out of school children roaming the streets coupled with the incessant strike actions of lecturers in the tertiary institutions for eight (8) months out of nine (9) months per session, while school syllabus are still of the Queen’s standards in the current industrial revolution in the 4th realm of global economy – Poverty is inevitable.
The obsolete and archaic analogue are still being operated on, leading to extreme nagging and gruesome poverty.
At times like this , when starvation have depleted the ‘Human Development lndex’ to below the belt level, “AGROPRENUERAL EMPOWERMENT” (Production for availability and Processing for value chain development) should be taken more seriously in the absence of scientific innovation in the I-TECH world.
The National Bureau of Statistics disclosed that 133million or 63% Nigerians are multidimensionally poor. exceeding the World Bank projection for ’22. The multidimensional Index are measured through the optics of lack of access to health, education, living standards, employment and security amongst others(HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INDEX -HDI).
Paradoxically, the current administration (2015) in Nigeria campaigned of lifting 100million people out of poverty in ten years but 133million are now extremely poor in 2022. India lifted 271million out of poverty between 2006 and 2016. China lifted over 700million from poverty between 1990-1913.
The underpinning factors responsible for the threatening hunger are extreme Population growth, Covid-19pandemic, Escalation of Russia/ Ukraine war and Principally lack of Productive orientations.
PANACEA / REQUIREMENTS
Nigeria need to put in place swift policies that will provide opportunities through the CORE WORKING GROUP (CWG) in the Labour market and boost the investors FDI’s confidence.
Agroprenueral production and processing is the panacea .
STATES TOP HIT BY POVERTY ARE : Plateau 84%, Jigawa 84.3%, Gombe 86.2%, Bayelsa 88.5%, Sokoto 90.5%. While States less hit are Anambra 32.1%, Edo 31%, Abia 29.8%, Lagos 29% and Ondo 27.2% .
Nigeria is ranked 158th of 189 nations of the world in Human Development Index (HDI).
CONCLUSION
The need to reappraise the role of “Core Working Group” CWG cannot be overemphasised.

TYPES OF COLD CHAINS
-SHOCK FREEZERS
Shock Freezers are professional equipment that controls temperature necessary for keeping products fresh for a long time.
While preserving the products the equipment makes to keep undamaged nutritional value of the products after being defrosted. The equipment is made to consists of Double Stage Semi Hermatic compressors. The Shock freezers system allows to lower the temperature very rapidly up to -180°C degrees. Freezing is provided by air coolers of it by blowing over fronted surface of the wagon. This enables to freeze down quickly in cold air flow. The room air should not exceed 35°/-40.°C. Besides, it’s proven to be a low-waste and environment friendly system.
COLDSTORAGE
This system is manufactured and installed with the entire components like it is ready to use. It could be of mobile device.
This system can be disassembled so it can be moved to other places.
Cold storage consist of the following levels and types of preserving:
-Cold-rooms 🙁 +16° / +5°C)
-Cold storage Rooms (+5°/-5°C)
-Freezing Rooms : (-18°/-23°C)
-Shock freezer :(-35°/-40°C) .
DEEPFREEZE ROOMS.
These are for preserving products such as meat, poultry etc. For a long time. They are preserved under temperatures not exceeding – 18°/-23°C. In order to isolate these rooms 150mm width sandwich panels are used.
COLD ROOMS
Cold rooms are used to keep baked goods, chocolates etc.
The cold rooms prevent bacteria from growing. Low ventilation allows workers to work without endangering their health which is very important aspect too.
