ETHANOL
Alcohol itself is not a carbohydrate, although spirits like Gin, Bourbon, Vodka, Beer, Stout etc are derived from the fermentation of grains (rye, malted barley, soghium, wheat.). Fermented grapes are primarily ingredients in wine and champagne, Alcoholic beverages are often labeled “Low Carb” or “no carb” but don’t be deceived, you can’t drink alcohol without consequences. Alcohol is high in calories, and largely empty calories at that. These really add up when when alcohol is consumed with mixers like sugary fruits juice, soda or flavored syrups. Labeling alcohol as “Low carb” is like labeling white bread as “low cholesterol ” – technically true but nutritionally misleading.
TECHNICALITIES – Alcohol is not broken down into sugar in the intestine or liver, but it is directly burned for fuel. So if you are drinking several alcoholic beverages along with your meal, your body will first burn the alcohol before accessing its own stores of carbohydrates and fats for energy. Overtime, this can really pack on the pounds, which is a common occurrence in both men and women. To add insult to injury, alcohol can also be appetite stimulant. If you have. had one too many. You may have less self- control when it comes to rejecting the rich chocolate cakes in favor of that bowl of mixed berries.
HEALTH IMPLICATIONS
The list of medical problems heavy drinkers encounter is very long and touches just about every organs system. eg. Heart, disease, dementia, cirrhosis of the liver and ulcer are just a few conditions at the top of the list. Cardiologists commonly see heart arrhythmia (abnormal heart rhythms.) known as “holiday heart ” after only slightly excessive alcohol intake (.often during party season ) Although, this condition is usually benign, it can be quite serious and demand immediate medical attention, especially if it is the result of binge drinking.
Oncologist have seen an association between alcohol intake and breast cancer, colon cancer, liver cancer and head/neck cancers. – For smokers who drink, the risk of these cancers is considerably greater.
Drinking more than moderately (moderately alcohol intake is generally defined as one alcoholic beverage daily for women and two for men.) can also increase the bad fat known as triglycerides triglycerides in the bloodstream. High triglycerides are usually associated with low levels of good high – density lipoprotein H
DL cholesterol, especially in people with belly fat.
WINE
For years we’ve heard about the “French paradox”! referring to the fact that the French seems thinner and have less heart disease than one would expect from their diet, which often includes high amounts of butter and other forms of saturated fat, frequently washed down with a glass of red wine. Through the years scientists have hypothesized that there must be something in red wine that is protective and recent research has pinpointed the ” Antioxidant Resveratrol” a type of polyphenol (a healthfully phytonutrient.) as a likely candidate. How red wine affects the body remain unclear, but recent studies show that sipping a glass of red wine with meal can decrease the amount of inflammation – producing free radicals found in the blood after a meal.

CONCLUTION
Studies have consistently shown that moderate (not excessive .) alcohol intake does decrease the rate of heart attack and possibly diabetes which could be in part be attributed to the action of Nitric oxide, Moderate alcohol In take can also increase your good HDL cholesterol.

TYPES OF COLD CHAINS
-SHOCK FREEZERS
Shock Freezers are professional equipment that controls temperature necessary for keeping products fresh for a long time.
While preserving the products the equipment makes to keep undamaged nutritional value of the products after being defrosted. The equipment is made to consists of Double Stage Semi Hermatic compressors. The Shock freezers system allows to lower the temperature very rapidly up to -180°C degrees. Freezing is provided by air coolers of it by blowing over fronted surface of the wagon. This enables to freeze down quickly in cold air flow. The room air should not exceed 35°/-40.°C. Besides, it’s proven to be a low-waste and environment friendly system.
COLDSTORAGE
This system is manufactured and installed with the entire components like it is ready to use. It could be of mobile device.
This system can be disassembled so it can be moved to other places.
Cold storage consist of the following levels and types of preserving:
-Cold-rooms 🙁 +16° / +5°C)
-Cold storage Rooms (+5°/-5°C)
-Freezing Rooms : (-18°/-23°C)
-Shock freezer :(-35°/-40°C) .
DEEPFREEZE ROOMS.
These are for preserving products such as meat, poultry etc. For a long time. They are preserved under temperatures not exceeding – 18°/-23°C. In order to isolate these rooms 150mm width sandwich panels are used.
COLD ROOMS
Cold rooms are used to keep baked goods, chocolates etc.
The cold rooms prevent bacteria from growing. Low ventilation allows workers to work without endangering their health which is very important aspect too.
