RESEARCH FINDINGS ON ELECTRIFICATION ACCESS DEFICIT.
In Africa with particular reference to West Africa; in Nigeria, electricity remains grossly under-served with one of the lowest energy-per- capital rates in the world. The renewable energy option remains huge opportunity for the country to close the very embarrassing gap. In July 2016, Pricewaterhouse Coopers in “Powering Nigeria for future ” reported that the country ‘s per capita power consumption was one of the lowest within the African region and globally ( only 151kwh per year. ).

BONDS are debt securities issued by government, government agencies and Corporate bodies in order to raise capital, while “GREEN BONDS” are bonds used to raise capital specifically for environmental – friendly projects, i.e. Climate -friendly that leaves little or no adverse effects on the environment. Basically, projects that reduces or cause no pollution of land , water or air; reduce carbon emissions and or conserve natural resources.
The concept of “GREEN BONDS ” started when a few development banks such as the European Investment Bank and the World Bank launched it in 2007. While others issuers such as corporate and municipalities also started participating in the issuance.

ELIGIBLE GREEN BOND PROJECTS :
Qualifying or eligibility for the Green projects include but not limited to investments in the following areas :
• Renewable energy ( Solar,Wind & Hydropower ) ;
• Conservation (Biodiversity and natural ecosystems );
• Sustainable land use ( forestry, agriculture and aquaculture);
• Sustainable waste management ( Pollution prevention, Open defecation and control);
• Energy efficiency ( efficient buildings , energy management);
• Clean transportation ( Rail,mass transit systems, Bus Rapid Transit scheme s) and
• Sustainable water management (water treatment plants, water distribution infrastructure, water capture and storage infrastructure- eg. LAKE CHAD recharging).

■ADAPTATION MECHANISM OF CLIMATE ACTION. .
Experts have traced the climate change to some environmental changes globally such as desertification and the drying up of Lake Chad. The use of adaptation as climate action is the economic adjustment to ecological problems as it occurs by building necessary infrastructure and systems that can address as well as prevent the impact. Nigeria can utilise Sustainable land and water management to address desertification and shrinking of Lake Chad by Recharging it from areas of abundant water flow.

TYPES OF COLD CHAINS

-SHOCK FREEZERS
Shock Freezers are professional equipment that controls temperature necessary for keeping products fresh for a long time.
While preserving the products the equipment makes to keep undamaged nutritional value of the products after being defrosted. The equipment is made to consists of Double Stage Semi Hermatic compressors. The Shock freezers system allows to lower the temperature very rapidly up to -180°C degrees. Freezing is provided by air coolers of it by blowing over fronted surface of the wagon. This enables to freeze down quickly in cold air flow. The room air should not exceed 35°/-40.°C. Besides, it’s proven to be a low-waste and environment friendly system.

COLDSTORAGE
This system is manufactured and installed with the entire components like it is ready to use. It could be of mobile device.
This system can be disassembled so it can be moved to other places.
Cold storage consist of the following levels and types of preserving:
-Cold-rooms 🙁 +16° / +5°C)
-Cold storage Rooms (+5°/-5°C)
-Freezing Rooms : (-18°/-23°C)
-Shock freezer :(-35°/-40°C) .

DEEPFREEZE ROOMS.
These are for preserving products such as meat, poultry etc. For a long time. They are preserved under temperatures not exceeding – 18°/-23°C. In order to isolate these rooms 150mm width sandwich panels are used.

COLD ROOMS
Cold rooms are used to keep baked goods, chocolates etc.
The cold rooms prevent bacteria from growing. Low ventilation allows workers to work without endangering their health which is very important aspect too.
